Our Goal
Grow Big Trees is bringing back the time tested apprenticeship model.
There is no replacement for experience. We believe on-the-job workforce training is the best way for our apprentices to gain valuable skills towards a rewarding career that actively builds a better future for the rest of the planet.
How does it work?
We are currently employed on a broad range of regenerative forestry projects and the demand is growing.
Our apprentices will:
build tangible low impact forestry skills
receive valuable chainsaw skills via Game of Logging Certification and real life experience
empower their innate leadership abilities
learn tree propagation
develop a deeper understanding of silviculture
build an understanding of scientific literacy and applied ecology
grow teamwork and communication skills
The success of our work is based on constant innovation. Each and every team member’s voice is heard. The questions YOU ask will lead to new and creative ways of stewarding the ecosystems we depend on.
Who is involved:
Our innovative team includes experts ranging in skillsets: from ecologists & horse loggers to farmers & food logistics specialists. However, we need more! We need the support of people who believe that restoring our planet starts with rolling up our sleeves and getting to work.
